We respect your privacy and are committed to handling your personal information responsibly. This Privacy Policy explains what we collect, how we use it, and the choices you have.
This policy is for general information and is not legal advice. Laws may vary by location.
1) Information we collect
You provide directly
- Contact details (name, email, message) when you use our contact form, email us, or request resources.
- Newsletter signups (name, email).
- Comments or survey responses (if enabled).
Collected automatically
- Device and usage data: IP address, browser type, pages viewed, referring/exit pages, timestamps, approximate location (city/country), and similar technical data collected via cookies, pixels, or local storage.
- Ad and analytics identifiers (e.g., cookie ID, advertising ID) where permitted.
From third parties
- Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics).
- Advertising partners (e.g., Google AdSense) that may report ad performance and fraud prevention signals.
- Form processors (e.g., Formspree/Getform) if you use our contact form.
We do not intentionally collect sensitive personal information.
2) How we use your information
- Provide and improve our website, content, and services.
- Respond to inquiries and support requests.
- Send newsletters or updates you opt in to (you can unsubscribe anytime).
- Measure site performance and understand readership (analytics).
- Personalize/serve ads and limit ad fraud/abuse (advertising).
- Comply with legal obligations and enforce our terms.
Legal bases (EEA/UK): consent, performance of a contract (e.g., sending a requested download), legitimate interests (site security, analytics, non-intrusive marketing), and legal obligation.
3) Cookies & similar technologies
We use cookies, pixels, and local storage to run the site, remember preferences, analyze traffic, and support advertising.
Cookie categories
- Essential: security, load balancing, consent records.
- Preferences: remember settings (e.g., theme).
- Analytics: understand traffic and improve content.
- Advertising: measure ads, prevent fraud, personalize or limit personalization (depending on your choices).
You can control cookies in your browser settings and via our Consent/Preferences tools (see “Your choices” below).
4) Advertising (Google AdSense)
We display advertising via Google AdSense. Google and partners may use cookies or device identifiers to:
- deliver and measure ads,
- detect fraud and abuse, and
- personalize ads if you consent (EEA/UK) or where permitted by law.
Your ad choices
- Manage Google ads: https://adssettings.google.com/
- Opt-out of interest-based ads from many companies: https://optout.networkadvertising.org/ and https://www.youronlinechoices.eu/ (EEA) / https://optout.aboutads.info/ (US).
- EEA/UK visitors will see a consent banner to choose personalized or non-personalized ads.
5) Analytics
We may use Google Analytics (or a similar service) to gather aggregated usage data. These tools set cookies to understand how visitors use the site. You can opt out of Google Analytics with the browser add-on: https://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout
6) Email & forms
If you submit a contact form or subscribe to emails:
- We process your message to respond, and store it as required for support and record-keeping.
- Email service providers and form processors act as data processors on our behalf.
We never sell your personal messages or email address.
7) Sharing your information
We share data only as needed to run the site and comply with law:
- Service providers/processors: hosting, analytics, email, form handling, security, ad partners.
- Legal/disclosure: to comply with lawful requests or protect rights, safety, and security.
- Business changes: in a merger, sale, or similar transaction, information may transfer under the same privacy commitments.
We do not sell personal information for money. For U.S. state privacy laws, some ad/analytics uses may be considered “share” or “sale” of personal information for cross-context advertising; see “Your rights” below for opt-out options.
8) International transfers
We may process information on servers located outside your state or country (e.g., the United States or EU). When we transfer personal data internationally, we rely on appropriate safeguards such as Standard Contractual Clauses or equivalent mechanisms offered by our providers.
9) Data retention
We keep personal data only as long as necessary for the purposes described:
- Contact messages: typically 24 months.
- Newsletter data: until you unsubscribe or request deletion.
- Analytics/ads cookies: per provider defaults or until you clear them or withdraw consent.
- Legal records: as required by law.
10) Security
We use reasonable technical and organizational measures (HTTPS, access controls, least-privilege policies). No method of transmission or storage is 100% secure; please use caution when sharing information online.
11) Your choices & controls
- Cookie/Consent settings: Use the banner or “Cookie Settings” link in the site footer to review or change preferences at any time (EEA/UK: consent; elsewhere: opt-out tools where required).
- Browser controls: Block or delete cookies in your browser settings.
- Email: Click Unsubscribe in any newsletter.
- Ads: Use the AdChoices links above to opt out of interest-based advertising.
- Do Not Track: We currently do not respond to DNT signals due to industry standards not being uniform.
12) Your privacy rights

- Access, rectification, deletion, restriction, portability, and objection to processing (including objection to processing based on legitimate interests and to direct marketing).
- Withdraw consent at any time without affecting prior processing.
